Ingelot van der Pol live-painted on the balcony at renovated church Bunk Utrecht 3 days a month, for 3 months. This exposition is an ode to the baby in her belly and the health of her loved ones. Made to celebrate all stages of life, embracing how vulnerable and unpredictable they are.
The small bird has grown up and is flying away. The hand represents the feeling of someone always being there for you. Just as Ingelots parents have been and like she plans to be for her own daughter. A reference to the pearl can be found in the moon. Its a representation of how comforting winks to the past can be. The blue, yellow, light beams and circular forms are used in each painting and show how different elements can entangle into one story.
